Fossil Rim

We made a trip to Fossil Rim wildlife park last weekend. We had a great time and enjoyed the weather. We drove past my parents house on the way, so my dad joined in on the fun. Hailey loved feeding all the animals and we had zebras and all kinds sticking their heads in our car wanting food. It was funny! I got a little scared of an ostrich, but luckily I rolled up my window in time! =) Hailey had no fear and loved the animals getting close!

We also got to try some new restaurants...a local barbeque place in Glenrose named Hammond's and then we drove to Stephenville for dinner and ate at an old diner called jake and dorothy's - Jeff had read about it in texas monthly so of course he had to try it.

Just some pics from around the house...i love my babies! Even though being a mommy can be exhausting...I am thankful for every day with them...its not that many years that they'll be at home with me!

Recent school activities for Hailey

Hailey had her spring program at school last week. Her class sang 2 songs and were so cute! Gran came to watch the show too!

Hailey and Lauren before school...they all were supposed to wear red shirts! Such big girls!

Hailey also got to have a "doughnuts with dad" morning at shcool a couple of weeks ago. She was so excited to get to have her daddy take her to school and play with her in her classroom. Hailey had answered some questions about Jeff...here are her answers:

9 months old

Houston turned 9 months old last week! He is crawling very fast and pulls up on everything and is will stand on his own for a little bit. He follows us all around the house. If we tell him "no no" then he gets a little smile and shakes his head no. Not that he'll stop what he's doing but it sure is cute. Hailey and Houston are starting to be able to play more together...she will hide from him and he will go and find her!

Playing outside

We have been trying to get outside when we can now that the weather is giving us some fairly warm days. Houston loves to swing!

Hailey was "taking care" of a worm she found...poor little worm! =)

i left his paci in hoping it would keep him from putting grass in his mouth...it somewhat worked!
