Daddy & Daughter trip

Jeff took Hailey on their first daddy & daughter trip to Catalina Island. They stayed the first and last night in a hotel and then camped on the island the other night. It was a little bittersweet for mommy...I was so excited for Hailey to get to go and have fun, but I wish I could've been with them. I missed them so much and when Houston and I went to pick them up at the airport it was the best feeling ever to see my little girl...and daddy too =)! Hailey had so much fun...they played on the beach at santa monica and went to an aquarium before going to the island. These pictures are all out of order.

hailey has had swim lessons the past 2 weeks...today when we were driving home from swim lessons hailey told me that she wants to have her swim teacher every summer forever - she really likes mr. chad! she also told me that she wishes she could have a car that has doors that slide open by themselves (i think she means like on a minivan) and a car that is pink - she said "that is what i wish mommy" - it made me laugh

Life with Houston

So this isn't playing...this is before we woke him up from naptime. Hailey loves to come with me to wake him up and we unwrap him from his miracle blanket and watch him stretch. Sometimes Hailey likes to climb in his crib with him too and pretend like she is a baby.

4th of july

We had a fun 4th of July! On july 3rd we went to a party at one of our friends house and hailey got to play in the pool before we all walked to a park for the coppell fireworks! I was a little nervous about bringing Houston since it is so hot, but he did so good and slept through it all - he would jump occasionally during the fireworks...but never enough to wake up! On july 4th, hailey and I walked to the end of our street for the parade that morning and she got lots of candy! We cooked out that night and made homeade ice cream and then went and watched the lewisville fireworks in the costco parking lot (our favorite store) - ha!
